We often say ‘I love you’ but what we mean is something else.

We often say ‘I love you’ but what we mean is something else. 
We mean I love how you make me feel, I love what you bring to me or I love the image I have of myself when I am with you. 
That’s a different matter altogether. 
When you are interested in what you are getting or when you are interested in your feelings or in a state, calling it love is a misnomer. 
Can we take notice of these internal patterns? 
They may be well hidden. Nonetheless, they can be noticed.
