The mind asks questions. All sorts of questions. Sometimes the most ridiculous question.
For the mind, it does not matter if the question is ridiculous, nonsensical or not.

As long as there is a separate me, the personal mind impression remains on board and maintains itself.
In fact, the separate me is the personal mind impression made out of belief and feeling.
