Things are content of mind, meaning they are the process of perceiving. The reality of things is eternal and cannot pass away.On the other hand, the appearance of things is not their reality. Given it is not their reality, it also cannot pass away since that which has no reality cannot be said to exist.To peak of the passing away of that which does not exist is nonsensical and meaningless.
