BOUNDARIES

Question: How do you see boundaries?

Reply: When you believe thought that says you are a body mind and when feelings of limitations and unhappiness arise, you are experiencing boundaries, while in fact, there are none.

AUGUST-SEPT RETREAT AT MT SHASTA
Dear friends,
An opportunity has presented itself to conduct a 4 -5 days retreat at Flowing Waters in Mt Shasta, California. The dates are not set yet, but most likely it will be in August or early September.
I am sending this early post as a feeler to find out who is interested in attending the retreat.
I believe there is room for 13 attendees.

Michael Coffman If you do come, it will be a beautiful time of year, and it would be great if you could give yourself some extra time in addition to the retreat. I could easily see spending a couple weeks camping around in the area and visiting gorgeous day hike places, lakes and sacred spots such as the Medicine Wheel which Ted has been maintaining for years.

Michael Coffman Dale, yes Ted will be involved! He will share his beautiful poetry with us, and probably lead us on some outings around Mount Shasta.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE EGO AND THE SELF?

Michael Coffman Considering the “thorn of mortality” metaphor: what a thorn can do is painfully stab prick scratch or poke me. I guess it haunts me in the sense that I can’t be at ease, never knowing when that thorn is going to bother me again… which it will keep doing of course, until my identity has been sorted out. I’m not the pokable body! And the thorny pyracantha and hawthorne bushes are beautiful.

DEMENTIA AND AWARENESS

Magdi Badawy Thanks Lawrence Solomons, I have listened in part to the link you sent me. I found lots of caring for her father. Quite challenging to take care of someone in such need. I also noticed lots of sentimentality.

THE PRIMARY DIVISION

With the I-thought you divide yourself, you separate yourself from your inherent wholeness, the wholeness of Being-Awareness. Thus, a primary subject-object arises and the myriad names and forms follow.

Reality is indivisible. Separation is an unhappy dream, the illusory dream of world body mind.
