You are the oppressor today, but for many subsequent lifetimes, you will be the oppressed.
That is how the wheel of samsara spins.
If we do not take this life as an opportunity to rise above the ego, if we do not contemplate the wholeness of being and live it, we will experience numerous lifetimes of sorrow and regret.

Everyone is your very self.
Whatever you divide, divides you.
