The initial veil

THE INITIAL VEIL

The veil of our true nature is the superimposition of ‘I am the body mind’.
This initial assumption gives rise to the I-me-mind and me-feeling that triggers the I-thought and enivrates it. The mind becomes like a drunkard who is rambling at no end unaware of reality.
Upon inquiry into the veridity of this belief and feeling of ‘I am the body mind’, its falsehood becomes apparent and its roots start to dry out.
The contemplation reveals that I am not the body nor the mind since they are appearances and I am the reality of awareness/consciousness that is non phenomenal, that does not appear and disappear, yet it is undeniable.
This meditative contemplation triggers all sorts of insights that slowly but surely dissolve all our conditioning and reveal the innate bliss of the Self.
