Nihilism refers to a conceptual understanding of the Self. “There is no-one and the world is not real”, is only an interim stage towards the realization of the Self.
When the world body mind is seen as emptiness but the fullness of the Self is not revealed, the understanding is partial and often leads to nihilism and a neo-understanding of the Self.

Although the sense of me-the-person is dimmed, it is not yet extinguished.
It is wise to remain open for the deepening of the revelation.
