You do not need to awaken by exploring the dream images and content of your night dreams or daydreams.
You cannot know yourself via your thoughts, nor via images that arise to you, whether the images arise in the waking state or in the dream state.
You know yourself directly by going directly to the source.
The source that you are. The Aware Presence that you are. You awaken to That directly.
The Dharma is now available to you.
